Partnering With Other Professionals
Where the complexities of a project may necessitate the services of other professionals such as Structural Engineers, Building Services Consultants or Quantity Surveyors, TBP Architects have extensive experience of partnering with other disciplines to provide an integrated service.

Residential Projects
We have extensive experience in residential projects from small developments to one-off houses and house extensions.

Listed Buildings & Conservation Areas
The wide range of projects on which TBP Architects have been involved over the years include a broad experience of work to historical and listed buildings, and properties that fall within heritage or designated conservation areas.

Historical buildings and their environment invariably have their own individual character which has been considered of sufficient architectural merit to warrant protection as a listed building. Particular care and sympathy is required to ensure that any works undertaken do not detract from the quality and character of the building.

Such properties come under the scrutiny of the local planning authority’s Listed Building Officer and in particularly sensitive cases, also English Heritage. Dependent on the grade of the listing and the scope of works, Listed Building Approval is required. TBP Architects always seek to consult and work in close liaison with the local authority planners and English Heritage to achieve the most appropriate solutions for our client, the building and the satisfaction of the local authority.
