Banker Masonry
Hutton Stone Co Ltd provide a full Banker Masonry (Dressing of Masonry) Service. Using the traditional skills of hand dressing combined with modern profiling and lathe machinery we can produce any masonry element required for your project.

Our masonry services at a glance:

Carving
Our carvers can handle almost every project imaginable. We do memorials, plaques, sculptures, coats-of-arms as well as commercial work such as architectural carving and restoration.

Paving & Flooring
We currently stock 3 types of imported Indian Paving and are proud to have been purchasing our imported paving from the same supplier for over 20 years now. We are aware that we could buy it from other cheaper sources but we feel it is important to be confident about the overall quality, its origin, and how it was produced.

Stone specifications available:

• Hand squared, average 25mm to 35mm thick.
• All widths 600mm
• Available Lengths of 450mm, 600mm, 750mm, 900mm and 1200mm
• (Equates approximately to: 2’, 2’6”, 3’ and 4’ respectively)

Restoration & Surface Dressings
We have generations of experience in the supply of restorative stone masonry and we absolutely pride ourselves in paying special attention to the dressing techniques used by those who have gone before us. If you want to match something in a restoration project or you want your new build project to sit perfectly within a traditional environment we are here to help!

Walling
We provide random or coursed walling stone in all colours. Standard bed-widths of 100mm and 150mm are normal and are most likely to be in stock, but we can price and produce other thickness’s if required.

We are happy to specify stone type if you are unsure and are trying to match existing. We can do this from samples provided by yourself or site visit if required. All walling can be supplied loose or bagged / palleted at an additional cost. For advice and guidance on walling for your project please call in at the yard.

Fireplaces
Hutton Stone Co Ltd produce 3 Standard fireplaces although each one can be modified to suit the fire opening and space you have available. Beyond this and as often is the case our customers bring us their own individual ideas or a picture they have seen and we modify the design to suit your room dimensions.

Professional Delivery
Hutton Stone Co Ltd can deliver via crane offload or tipper if required to any specified site and are always pleased to quote for this. We are highly experienced with awkward offloads or hard to reach places, just get in touch and we can run through the specifics. Alternatively customers are welcome to collect their goods by arrangement from the yard.

Full UK wide delivery is available 6 days a week.

Design and Advice Service
We are delighted to offer a full advisory service and will happily attend your site to take sizes, dressing details and advise on Stone type or any design issue if you wish. We are also able to offer full Auto-Cad design facilities for any component parts of your masonry that require it.

Contract Sawing
Where clients have their own reclaimed stone, Hutton Stone Co Ltd offer a “by- the-hour” sawing service using our 2 meter and Monoblade primary cutting facilities for slabbing large block and our 1250mm CNC, 1200, 800mm diameter secondary sawing equipment and milling and routing machines for cutting stone to finished sizes. We are always happy to look at any individual quantity of stone and advise on cost.
